Parish Pastoral Council
The Christian faithful, incorporated in Christ through Baptism, are sharers in their own way in Christ’s priestly, prophetic and royal function. They are called to exercise the mission which God has entrusted to the Church, using their gifts and talents. The members of the Parish Pastoral Council serve in an advisory capacity to assist the Pastor in the governance of the Parish and in his pastoral care of the Parish.
The members of the Pastoral Council include representative of active ministry groups in the Parish, as well as members appointed by the Pastor.
The Pastoral Council generally meets four times each year to review the pastoral needs of the Parish and to recommend new initiatives which they believe will strengthen communion among the members of the Parish, foster their spiritual growth, and enable them to be effective missionary disciples, for the building up the Kingdom of God.
