POPE LEO XIV
On Thursday, May 8, 2025, His Eminence Robert Francis Cardinal Provost, OSA, was elected at the 267th Bishop of Rome, the successor of St. Peter and Vicar of Christ on earth!
Together with Christians and people of good will throughout the world, we rejoice that God has given us a new universal pastor. Let us pray fervently for our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV as he begins his pastoral ministry! May God grant his wisdom, strength and good health, and may Mary, Mother of the Church, be ever at his side, guarding him with her mantle of protection.
POPE FRANCIS 1936-2025
Pope Francis returned to the House of the Father at 7:35 a.m. on Monday, April 21st. We pray with gratitude for his faithful ministry as Vicar of Christ and shepherd of the Church of Christ.
O God, faithful steward of souls,
grant that your departed servant Pope Francis,
whom you made successor of Peter
and shepherd of your Church,
may happily enjoy forever in your presence in heaven
the mysteries of your grace and compassion,
which he faithfully ministered on earth.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever. Amen.
