This year Christmas and New Year’s Day fall on Monday.  The Vigil Mass for both feasts does not count as “fulfilling Sunday obligation”.  We are obliged to attend Mass for the Fourth Sunday of Advent on December 23/24th and the Feast of the Holy Family (December 30/31st respectively.
